To the Olympiad Award EuroDIG 2018 participant and the author of the best chess move

Georgia is hosting the EuroDIG 2018 – European Dialogue on Internet Governance. This is the first time that such an important forum is held in Eastern Partnership countries. EuroDIG-2018 unites public officials, international organizations, experts and business representatives. More than 500 guests from Europe and European structures participate in the event.

During the event, with the support of the Organizing Committee of the 43rd Chess Olympiad, the project „Million Moves”, created by the European Chess Union president Zurab Azmaiparashvili and the Director of a Research and Development Association Aleksandre Sulava, was held between the participants of the forum. Professor Michael Rotter (Germany) turned out to be the author of the best move in the online match. The Organizing Committee of 2018 World Chess Olympiad awarded him with two invitations to the opening ceremony of the 43rd Chess Olympiad and a three-day gift package. The world chess legend and the Chess Olympiad goodwill ambassador Nona Gaprindashvili awarded the winner at the #EuroDIG 2018 gala-reception held at the Underwheel Club. The author of the best chess move Michael Rotter mentioned that he is a chess enthusiast and that attending the opening ceremony of the 43rd Chess Olympiad is a great honor for him.
